The Belforte Trust is a registered Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) (Registered Charity Number 176386) and was founded in late 2017 as a result of the overwhelming generosity of an animal loving donor.

It was the Founder’s desire to leave a lasting legacy for animals when she passed away. Our founder was a lady who cared passionately for animals, and lived happily with her cats and dogs in London for many years, dedicating her later life to their care and attention.

Sadly, our Founder passed away in 2021 and she bequeathed a sum of money specifically for the care of animals. From these funds, The Belforte Trust is seeking to gradually launch a variety of projects, campaigns and activities which will be built to ensure that her legacy is a lasting one, for many years to come.
